Fully Automated Impregnation and Hotoil Plant

The Challenge 

Møre Tre AS required a modern facility that could combine both impregnation and Hotoil drying in one integrated solution. The goal was to secure efficiency, full production traceability, and flexible unmanned operation while leaving room for future expansions.

The Solution 

We delivered a fully automated impregnation and Hotoil plant with a complete transport system, designed and tailored to Møre Tre’s operational needs.
The facility is built in accordance with all current standards and directives and offers full traceability of every production run. It supports Fullcell, Lowry, and Hotoil processes and is capable of operating unmanned for up to 24 hours.


The plant is equipped with an advanced SCADA system for monitoring, control, and reporting, including barcode scanning of packages and automated SMS alerts to staff when running autonomously during nights and weekends.

The facility has been expanded over time:

  • From 3 to 4 Hotoil units in 2014

  • From 4 to 5 Hotoil units in 2024

The Benefits 

With this solution, Møre Tre AS has achieved:

  • A combined impregnation and Hotoil drying facility with a total capacity of 51,000 m³ CCA and 53,000 m³ Hotoil annually

  • Complete production traceability through advanced automation

  • Flexible operation across multiple impregnation and drying processes

  • Scalable capacity with expansions in 2014 and 2024
