Møre Tre AS Royal 3

Fully Automated Hotoil Plant

Customer: Møre Tre AS
Location: Surnadal, Norway
Construction year: 2017 (expanded in 2020)

The Challenge

Møre Tre AS needed a high-capacity Hotoil drying facility that could ensure efficiency, traceability, and reliability while leaving room for future growth. The aim was to create a fully automated system that could operate with minimal staffing, run unmanned for extended periods, and support the company’s expanding production.

The Solution

We delivered a fully automated Hotoil plant with an integrated transport system, customized to Møre Tre’s operational requirements.
The plant was designed in compliance with all relevant standards and directives, ensuring process safety and quality. It provides full traceability of production and can run unmanned for up to 24 hours.

The installation is managed through an advanced SCADA monitoring and control system, which includes barcode scanning of packages and SMS alerts to staff when the plant operates autonomously during nights and weekends.

In 2020, the facility was expanded from 3 to 5 Hotoil units with additional drying lines, significantly increasing production capacity.
