The Challenge
Thermal Wood Technologies required a modern thermo modification facility that could deliver high-quality output, ensure full traceability, and comply with strict industry standards. The ambition was to implement WTT’s unique 2.0 Thermo Modification process to achieve durable Class 1 products and secure international certification.
The Solution
We delivered an automated 2.0 Thermo Modification plant with a simple yet efficient transport system, tailored to TWT’s operational needs.
The facility was designed in full compliance with applicable directives and standards and provides complete traceability of every production batch. It operates using WTT’s 2.0 process, the only process on the market approved under NTR AB, ensuring that the final product meets Durable Class 1 standards.
In 2022 and 2023, the factory was expanded to include three autoclaves, increasing total annual capacity to 30,000 m³. An advanced SCADA system supports monitoring, control, and reporting of the entire plant.
